So! Irl News: I'm having to get a pair of dorky glasses to help me see into the distance like an elf...because I use computer way too much lol. Also! I've been editing all of the video I took at AFO...there was a LOT <_<; and I ran into a few snags, which is why its taking so long. I've also been drawing and stuff...but I'm waiting to post it all in a lump.

EXPcon is coming up, so I need to scuttle butt on getting things done before then. I'll be delivering a panel there...and Anime Classroom if you will, with myself as the Professor. The topic you ask? Anything and everything Revolutionary Girl Utena. Manga, movie, anime, and video game...I'll be delving into the symbology, psycho analysing body language and motives, as well as shedding some outside light on parallels and hidden easter eggs that correspond to real life events! I've got duel chorus break-downs, name break downs, and even the good ole Relationship Board 2.0...this time with a bigger magic marker!

I've got a powerpoint presentation I've been working on(I've dropped some screenshots down below to give you an idea of the look) and I'mmaking comparison video clips, artwork blow ups, and working on getting some rose shaped candy to throw out ha ha. I'll even have a pop quiz for the suckers. Ahhh...I love the power of playing teacher! But I have to admit I'm nervous lmao... Ugh. Hope it goes well. I'll probably also bring my cello again.

Suffice to say work's been bogging me down but I'm slowly climbing out of the mirk. Rejoined Gaia Online again (ha ha, 2 years since I've been!) and am working to start RPing again.

I'm also working on getting a Rip Van Winkle cosplay together. Not terribly difficult I suppose. But I'm neither a seamstress nor a lady of wealth...so it's the best I can do on short notice ha ha.

I find myself wanting to be like some of my friends and take pictures in my old costumes to post online. But I'm worried about being labled a lame geek. =/

Went to AFO (Anime Festival Orlando) this weekend and had a really great time. Pics soon to come, and editing some video I took.

Gonna post a reasonable load of art soon too. It's been stacking up and I'm finally going through the pile. Everything from photomanipulations, to graphite sketches, to an actual comic that I never got around to making. Remember that Bumps in the Night series? I've considered posting some of it here...and then having the rest appear on a website online.

Speaking of websites...

Recently began work on both a fun hobby blog for the original Dear Chun Li thread that had begun on the AnimeMetro forums a couple years ago...as well as a website for the OLD OLD OLD Palace of Anime (where I actually take my name from). "Prince Pyro"? Yeah there's a story there...now let's see if anyone wants to bother actually READING it. I'm also in the process of making a cheap temp-site for The ConArtists group. More to come on that later.

Busy busy. Work takes up half my life, with World of Warcraft and videogames taking up the other.

Brief journal update, to remind myself to make a longer update when I get home. I've gotten back into the swing of things, FINALLY writing that final chapter of my near-done Utena fanfic (nerd times lol!). I have new art to upload here on the way. I'm working on some AMVs and some Flash animations. And god help me I WILL update my LJ sometime. >8(
