Artist's Comments

I was waiting for another strand of song, of sound...a sound to well up from the darkness and caress the walls of my heart. So I played. I played out all of the warmth and sorrow and and suffering and longing that I had within me...

And waiting, with bated breath I listened for another...an equal...an accompaniment. I waited for the duet of our twin songs to appear...

But all I heard was Silence...

Really like this. I dig the ironic juxtaposition of the elegance and culture next to the dismal alley.

I'm sure there is probably an anime reference that is completely lost on me. ;-)

I also like the palette for the image; all the tones work well together.

Is that a double-helix shooting from the violin? Perhaps she is creating life?

Ha ha I could go on a lengthy artsy-fartsy bs spiel....but more honestly I was just throwing this together in like 30 minutes and used some cool stock photography I found online. XD

Nah, I COULD go on a lengthy long speech about symbolism and this and that...but its really just pretty much what you see to be honest. And I liked the bacground stock photo. XD And this only took 30 minutes. XD;

The double helix was a happy accident, but I liked how it turned out. =D The title itself plays on some ideas running through the overall pic, sound waves...aura waves...the ocean and the movement of currents... And music itself has a tendency to bend and curve depending on the piece.

Thanks for stopping by! =D
